1. Another code is already on the cart

This is the most common one and it fails silently. The codes are individual-use: with one already attached, the store accepts the second request and changes nothing. Remove the existing coupon first, then apply the one you want.

2. The cart is actually empty

Products sold in multiple variants do not enter the cart until a variant is selected. The page can look like the item was added when it was not, and a code applied to an empty cart shows no discount. Check that the subtotal is above zero before blaming the code.

3. You are using a code from a different company

Several unrelated businesses have similar names, and their codes circulate on coupon aggregators mixed in with these. Codes belonging to those brands will not apply at growthguys.com.
